Shllaku mund ta shpëtojë veten me turizëm

Albanian Food Tours - From Korça to Kolonja, savoring the unique and noble flavors

English - Shqip

As we have gather the most recent impressions on our latest published guide on Korça, a voluminous work which took nine months to complete, we are now ready to make a few suggestions. The areas of Korça and Kolonja have a rich culinary tradition that even a weeklong tour would not suffice to savor all the wonderful dishes particular of the area. Since it would be a challenge to list all recommendations, we will stop at some not-to-be-missed places along the 44km distance journey from Korça to Kolonja. You can reach Korça from wherever you are and we will not waste time explaining how to get there and what to do once you arrive. Naturally, the first stop should be the old bazaar, or the "it" destination in Korça. Supposing that is early in the day start off with a coffee or tea at Cozy Tea & Spice House. The menu list offers local herbal teas and traditional and sophisticated breakfasts.

Albanian Food Tours 2018 - Ksamili "Taste & Suggest" - gjithçka ofrohet nga përshtypjet e turistëve

Turet Kulinare 2018 - Edhe Ksamili shijohet ndryshe!

Albanian Food Tours 2018 - Ksamili

If we told you since the beginning of the tour that we will take you to Berat, you would certainly recall the magical Mangalem, white houses, the castle, Gorica in the front and the bridge connecting two historical neighborhoods. But, not this time. We will not take you to Berat. We could go after the tour to visit and see from up close the 2500-years-old city of Berat. For our culinary tour we decided to go to a new place, one that you haven’t perhaps visited yet. If you heard about the famous wine of Berat or its figs, they come from Roshnik. This is the place you will visit today, a place where grapes are cultivated to make wine and where the most famous figs of Albania come from. Roshniku is a village in Berat, at the foot of Tomorri Mountain that is known for grapes, figs, organic wine production known as "Pules of Berat,” and the best organic dishes in the area. The nature of Roshniku is breathtaking and the locals would even tell you Roshniku has the best nature. Locals are known to be hard working loving people. All of them are busy with viticulture and arboriculture, making the village a well-known destination for culinary tourism.

Belsh is so beautiful! It has always been beautiful because nature has given it eighty gorgeous pearls which seemed to form the necklace of a badly dressed women…Now that Belsh has become a little Pogradec, adorned and decorated with a new waterfront, with re-qualified architecture and many tourism objects ready to welcome visitors, the pearl necklace is shining!
